Peter Andre's Jungle Warning for I'm A Celebrity 2025 Stars
Peter Andre's Health Warning for I'm A Celeb 2025

Former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! star Peter Andre has delivered a crucial health warning to the celebrities entering the jungle for the 2025 series, which is set to begin this weekend.

The Stark Warning from a Jungle Veteran

Peter Andre, who famously appeared on the show in 2004, has cautioned the new intake of stars about the physical and mental challenges they are about to face. The Mysterious Girl singer, now 52, advised against the common mistake of overeating before entering the camp.

"If people have done the dreaded thing which I always tell them never to do, it's to keep eating so much before you go in," Andre revealed during an appearance on Good Morning Britain. He explained that stocking up on food beforehand can cause the body to go into shock once the limited rice and beans diet begins, suggesting it is better to let the body gradually adjust.

Inside the Jungle Experience

Reflecting on his own time in the Australian jungle, Andre described the unique nature of the experience, shared by only "300 or 400 people in the world." He emphasised the genuine hunger participants face, stating, "hunger is one of those things that I had never experienced before... you genuinely get it there, it's the real deal."

He also detailed the psychological aspects, noting the significant amount of downtime and the strict rules regarding crew interaction. "You can't talk to them, they won't answer you, can't ask the time, nothing," Andre said of the camouflaged camera crew, highlighting the show's intense isolation despite being constantly filmed.

The Toughest Series Yet and New Rules

This warning comes as ITV executives have confirmed that the 2025 series will be the "toughest" in the show's history. Executive producer Olly Nash told The Daily Mail that "more celebrities are taking part in the trials than we ever have before," making it a more competitive environment where stars must "fight more, earn more and play a bigger part in camp."

In a significant format change, a new rule has been introduced to prevent contestant burnout. Celebrities will now only be able to undertake two Bushtucker Trials in a row and cannot be voted in for a third consecutive time. A source close to the production stated this move will allow viewers to "see new favourites" emerge and give all participants a better chance to showcase their personalities.

The 2025 lineup features a diverse group of celebrities, including Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley, Loose Women's Kelly Brook, Martin Kemp, Eddie Kadi, Alex Scott, Shona McGarty, and Jack Osbourne. They will face hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly in what promises to be an exceptionally demanding season.

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! 2025 starts on Sunday at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
