Brooklyn Beckham Snubs Parents’ Father’s Day Olive Branch Amid Ongoing Rift

Brooklyn Beckham has ignored his parents’ Father’s Day olive branch, remaining silent on social media for the second consecutive year amid their ongoing family feud. Victoria and David Beckham both posted heartfelt tributes to their eldest son on Sunday, but Brooklyn did not acknowledge them publicly.

Victoria shared a photo of David with all four children, writing: “David you truly are the best daddy. Your greatest achievement has always been our beautiful children and we love you so much. Happy Father’s Day.” David posted a childhood snap of Brooklyn and added: “Being a dad is my most important job… I love you all & thank you mummy @victoriabeckham for giving me our beautiful family.”

While Brooklyn’s younger brothers Romeo and Cruz shared tributes, the 25-year-old stayed off social media. His wife Nicola Peltz honoured her own father, billionaire Nelson Peltz, with a gushing post, but made no mention of David Beckham.

The snub comes just days after Brooklyn unveiled a DoorDash commercial that appeared to mock the rift. In the ad, he says: “You're probably wondering why I'm watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home. It’s not like I don’t have tickets. Um… it’s because… it’s a long story.” Fans branded the ad “distasteful”, and sources said his parents were “inconsolable” and “shocked” that he would treat their rift as a “joke”.

Tensions have been simmering for years, but exploded in January when Brooklyn issued a blistering statement accusing his parents of being “controlling” and trying to “ruin” his marriage. He claimed Victoria pulled out of making Nicola’s wedding dress and danced “inappropriately” on him at the wedding. He also criticised David for ignoring requests to meet, and recently removed a tattoo tribute to his father.

Victoria broke her silence in April, telling the Wall Street Journal: “I think that we've always - we love our children so much. And you know, we've been in the public eye for more than 30 years right now, and all we've ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children.” She described the past year as “publicly challenging” but said she and David support each other through everything.
