Stephen Fry is set to perform a one-man show in London, with the script based on suggestions from his Twitter followers. The writer and broadcaster told The Independent that no topic would be 'off limits' for the event.
The show, titled Stephen Fry Live, will take place on 20 September at the Royal Albert Hall. It follows four similar performances he gave in Sydney and Melbourne last month.
Writing on his blog, Fry said: 'I have MC-ed, hosted, guested and otherwise infested that noble venue many times over the last quarter century, but never have I done a whole evening on my own. I am excited.'
Fry also expressed interest in taking the show on tour if it proves successful. 'If it goes well and people seem to enjoy it then I can think of nothing I would enjoy more than travelling around for a month or so, taking in Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and all parts of England,' he said.
