TOWIE Star Jordan Wright's Final Hours: CCTV Reveals 'Shootout' Threat Before Death

Newly released CCTV footage has unveiled the haunting final moments of TOWIE star Jordan Wright, who was found dead in a drainage ditch in Thailand. The video captures the 33-year-old reality TV personality from Basildon engaged in a loud and aggressive phone argument, where he threatened a "f****** shootout" with an unknown stranger. This chilling incident occurred just two days before his body was discovered at the same location in Phuket.

The Disturbing Phone Argument

The footage, recorded at 11:37 PM on March 12, shows Jordan Wright standing by a drainage canal, visibly agitated during the phone call. Police Lieutenant Colonel Chanasin Prateep Na Thalang confirmed that authorities are actively investigating the identity of the caller on the other end. While the exact words are not fully verified, Jordan appears to say, "Before they come back, let's get them back in the head and have a f****** shootout." He also uttered phrases like, "You better f**king perform yourself," and "I'm gonna go for a long time, man, you're gonna be late for your homecoming."

In the video, a family of three staying at a neighbouring hotel can be seen turning around, apparently overhearing Jordan's shouts. According to police reports, this foreign family witnessed him walking alone by the drainage canal, shouting loudly as if in a frenzied state. They later reported hearing the sound of someone wading in the water, with the noise ceasing around midnight.

Events Leading to the Tragedy

Just 12 minutes before this phone argument, another CCTV camera captured Jordan running erratically back to his hotel in Phuket. Police have stated that they do not believe he was being physically chased at that moment, but it does not rule out the possibility that he was fleeing from someone stationary in another location. Security and CCTV cameras at Hotel COCO did not detect any other figures, leaving the circumstances leading to his death unclear and suggesting that other people might have been involved.

Jordan Wright, who had arrived in Thailand in December on a digital nomad visa, was found dead in the drainage canal on a construction site by a Burmese worker on March 14. Police speculate that the water level in some parts of the canal was chest-deep, and combined with the darkness and his agitated state, he may have been unable to climb back out. No evidence indicates that anyone ran after him, and no other voices were heard during the incident.

Background of the TOWIE Star

Jordan Wright, known for his chisel-jawed appearance and former career as a firefighter, became a fan favourite on The Only Way Is Essex, appearing in 17 episodes. He was previously in a relationship with MTV's Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison. In his last Instagram post from March 6, just days before his death, he was seen relaxing in an infinity pool in Thailand, showcasing a seemingly tranquil side to his life abroad.

The investigation continues as police work to piece together the events of that fateful night, with the focus on identifying the mysterious caller and understanding the full context of Jordan's final hours.
