Brooklyn Beckham’s DoorDash Ad Leaves Family ‘Heartbroken’

Brooklyn Beckham has sparked fresh family tensions with a new DoorDash advert for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, in which he appears to mock his estrangement from his parents, David and Victoria Beckham. The 27-year-old is seen smirking in the commercial, saying: ‘You’re probably wondering why I’m watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home… It’s a long story.’ He then tosses football tickets onto a table displaying unopened letters, a camera, and a luxury watch believed to be a gift from his father.

A source told Metro: ‘Brooklyn’s advert has left his family stunned. No one could have predicted he would do something like this. Monetising this situation will be heartbreaking for David and Victoria, especially after his dig at “Brand Beckham” in his statement. Brooklyn has called for peace and privacy and this feels like the complete opposite by joking about their family fallout in front of the world.’

The advert comes days after Brooklyn accused his family of a ‘choreographed’ attempt to reunite, when his 14-year-old sister Harper tried to visit him after their father’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony. Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz-Beckham were not home, and his team claimed photographers were in place for the delivery. A source close to the Beckhams dismissed this as ‘a horrible accusation’ against an innocent girl who misses her brother.

Brooklyn has been estranged from his family for over a year, missing key events such as David’s knighting ceremony, Victoria’s Netflix documentary premiere, and the recent Walk of Fame event. David Beckham declined to discuss the rift in a recent Variety interview, calling it a ‘private matter’.
