The 76-year-old fashion designer, who has previously credited 'work, sleep and a vodka cocktail' for maintaining her youthful looks, arrived in a stunning pale pink satin gown with a frilled skirt, paired with her signature sunglasses.
Secrets to Youthful Looks
In a 2022 interview with BBC 100 Women, Wang, the chief creative officer of her fashion empire, described work as her 'magic elixir' for staying youthful. She has also admitted that a vodka cocktail and nine hours of sleep daily contribute to her appearance. Wang has been active in the fashion industry since age 18, becoming the youngest-ever fashion editor at Vogue at 23, and launching her own label nearly 20 years later.
Beyond work, Wang emphasizes a lighthearted approach to beauty. She told Page Six last year that she enjoys McDonald's and Dunkin' Donuts, stating, 'I do eat McDonald's, absolutely, I order it every day, like two weeks on it, and then I'll change.' She also revealed a fondness for cream-filled, sugar-coated donuts.
Anti-Aging Routine
In 2020, Wang shared her anti-aging secrets: 'work, sleep, a vodka cocktail, not much sun.' She explained to People that she typically has a vodka cocktail after five or six o'clock and gets nine hours of sleep nightly. 'Every age has its own set of beauty standards,' she noted, adding that she feels flattered by comments on her aging but hopes it does not overshadow her work.
Wang balances her diet between nutritious foods and junk food, occasionally eating the same fast food daily. In 2012, she told Harper's Bazaar that she once ate a slice of Ray's pizza every day. Apart from her nightly vodka cocktail, she drinks only water, having given up Diet Coke in 2006, which she called 'the hardest thing I ever gave up.'
Speaking exclusively to the Daily Mail at age 73, Wang expressed greater concern about physical disabilities than appearance, saying, 'I'm not totally preoccupied with how I look. I love my work, and I'm very passionate about my work, my friends, my daughters... I mean, I have a very full life.'
