Fitness fanatic Vogue Williams has given fans a stunning first look at her formidable physical prowess in the upcoming Celebrity Gladiators Christmas special. The mother-of-three showcased her ripped abs and toned arms while tackling the show's notoriously brutal monkey bars.
Christmas Day Showdown with the Gladiators
The special episode is scheduled to air on BBC One on Christmas Day and will be available to stream on iPlayer. Vogue, 40, will be joined by a formidable line-up of celebrity contestants all known for their physical fitness. They include former Olympic boxing champion Nicola Adams, 43, fitness guru Joe Wicks, 40, and recent I'm A Celebrity winner Sam Thompson, 33.
Newly released images from the Beeb preview the high-octane action, featuring hosts Bradley Walsh, 65, and his son Barney, 28, alongside the competing stars. Vogue, who recently appeared in ITV's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, is seen fully committing to the challenges.
Vogue's Fierce Fitness on Display
In one striking picture, the model and TV presenter puts her impressive arm muscles to the ultimate test on the monkey bars. Wearing a blue and white sports set, she displayed her athletic physique, including defined abs and toned legs, a testament to her well-documented fitness regime.
Another snapshot captures a more playful side, with Vogue pulling a mock-menacing face at the camera while gripping a pugil stick. She was also photographed beaming with joy in her matching tracksuit and looking "over the moon" while chatting to presenter Barney Walsh in the studio.
The contestants' team colours are clear, with Vogue and Sam Thompson in blue and black, while Joe Wicks and Nicola Adams sport red and black outfits.
A Celebrity Cast Built for Competition
This year's celebrity lineup promises a more serious athletic contest compared to last year's comedy-focused special. Producers have assembled four stars with proven physical credentials to genuinely challenge the Gladiators.
Vogue won the first series of Bear Grylls: Mission Survive and regularly shares workout tips with her Instagram followers. Joe Wicks became a household name with his PE lessons during the Covid lockdowns. Sam Thompson frequently documents his gym progress, and Nicola Adams remains a formidable force, having retired as an undefeated professional boxer and Olympic champion.
A source highlighted the shift, stating: "This year they've assembled four celebrities who can give the Gladiators a serious run for their money, and serve up a clash to savour."
The reboot of Gladiators, which originally aired on ITV in 1992, returned to screens in January 2024 to great success, prompting this celebrity spin-off. The special will culminate in the iconic and gruelling Eliminator challenge, testing the stars' speed and strength to the limit.
