Eurovision 2026 Grand Final: Full Running Order and Schedule
The Eurovision Song Contest 2026 grand final airs tonight, with 25 countries battling it out for the 70th anniversary crown. The show kicks off at 8pm British Summer Time on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
Britain's hopes rest with electronic outfit Look Mum No Computer and their track 'Eins, Zwei, Drei'. This year's contest has not been without drama, as five countries, including Ireland, staged a boycott protesting Israel's participation amid ongoing military operations in Gaza.
Viewers can anticipate a spectacular showcase of talent from across Europe and beyond, with Australia maintaining its decade-long presence in the competition. From an initial field of 35 acts, the contest has been narrowed down to 25 finalists following two semi-finals held this week.
The Big Four – the UK, Germany, France and Italy – have secured automatic qualification thanks to their substantial financial backing of the event. Under Eurovision regulations, defending champions Austria have also earned a direct pass to the final.

The running order was primarily determined through a draw. Semi-final qualifiers entered a lottery system yielding three possible outcomes: placement in the show's opening half, the closing half, or Producers' Choice. Under Producers' Choice, the final's production team allocated these nations to the remaining available slots. The UK finds itself mid-table at number 14, while host nation Austria closes proceedings with COSMÓ performing 'Tanzschein'.
Kicking off the grand final will be 'The Queen of the Night', featuring 2025 Eurovision champion JJ demonstrating his remarkable vocal prowess while weaving Mozart-inspired touches into his own compositions. He'll be joined on stage by over 40 dancers and acrobats as the 25 finalists parade with their national flags.
After all 25 nations have taken their turn, voting will commence alongside three interval performances. These include the Eurovision All Stars, who'll deliver legendary tracks from the Contest's archives to celebrate its 70th birthday, Austrian electro-swing sensation Parov Stelar, and Austrian Eurovision icon César Sampson, who'll offer a heartfelt rendition of Billy Joel's 'Vienna'.
Viewers will then discover the jury results, followed by the public vote announcement and the crowning of the Eurovision champion. The Eurovision Song Contest grand final broadcasts tonight on BBC One and BBC iPlayer at 8pm BST.
