Netflix's reality gameshow Million Dollar Secret has crowned its second season winner. The streamer's answer to The Traitors concluded with a tense final standoff, and host Peter Serafinowicz even had one last lie to unveil.

The final two episodes were released on April 29, featuring multiple twists before the $1 million prize winner was named. The final four contestants were Kat, Kaleb, Lauren, and Nick. Kaleb was the secret millionaire for the second time after the money was randomly reassigned following Umeko's elimination in episode six.
Poker player Nick made it all the way to the final showdown. Kaleb felt confident after escaping scrutiny during the penultimate challenge, Killer Croquet. Kat received a clue that the millionaire had owned a clothing store and loved fashion. She incorrectly assumed it applied to Daisy, leading to Daisy's elimination at the final dinner. The group also failed to catch the millionaire, so a killer shot eliminated Kevin as well.
The next day, the final four faced a challenge in pairs. Kaleb and Kat competed against Lauren and Nick. One teammate assembled a puzzle in the pool while the other solved clues about former contestants. Lauren and Nick won, gaining the power to send one person from the losing team home. They chose Kat, who revealed an empty box, surprising everyone.
Host Peter Serafinowicz then announced the final task: contestants would view items in a box and later list as many as they could remember. The millionaire had a head start, so they had to avoid scoring too highly to conceal their identity. Lauren finished third, Kaleb second, and Nick first. Only Kaleb and Nick could swap boxes if desired. Lauren was allowed to discuss options but strangely refused to answer or ask questions. Kaleb, thinking this made Lauren look suspicious, kept his box with the money. He tried one last mind game with Nick before Nick made his decision.
Nick followed his gut and chose to swap boxes, taking the money at the last moment, making him the winner. "I'm at a loss of words," Nick said. "I feel like I'm going to have a heart attack. It's nuts, I can't believe your boy pulled that off."
Gracious in defeat, Kaleb said: "He got me. I got whooped. I just lost one million dollars. I feel disappointed but I played this game well. I'm going back to a loving wife, two amazing children. I'm gonna ride that old broken down tractor and sell houses in a town of less than 300 people, and I'm still just gonna be Kaleb. And I'm OK with that."
Lauren added: "I didn't win but I go home to my family, to my dogs, to my bed, and I played a game I can be proud of. That's enough for me. I hope Handsome Nick spends it wisely and doesn't blow it on hair gel and Crest Whitestrips. And maybe if I'm lucky he'll buy me a car."
Host Serafinowicz had the last word, revealing a final secret: "Nick was lying to you about something else. He's not actually handsome."
