The unique horror comedy series Widow's Bay has begun streaming on Apple TV+, with its first two episodes released on April 29. The 10-part series will continue weekly, culminating in a finale in June. Plot Overview
Set on a quaint island town 40 miles off the coast of New England, Widow's Bay follows Mayor Tom Loftis as he attempts to revitalize his struggling community. With no Wi-Fi, spotty cellular reception, and superstitious locals who believe their island is cursed, Loftis aims to transform the island into a tourist destination for the sake of his teenage son. However, the locals were right—after decades of calm, the old, seemingly ludicrous stories begin to come true.

Matthew Rhys leads the cast as Mayor Tom Loftis. The Welsh-born actor is best known for his roles in The Americans, Brothers & Sisters, Steven Spielberg's The Post, the Perry Mason reboot, and Netflix's The Beast In Me.

Kingston Rumi Southwick, known from Presumed Innocent, plays Evan.
