Anya Taylor-Joy has been revealed in a first-look image for Dior Beauty's upcoming Christmas campaign, titled 'The Dior Ball of Dreams'. The 28-year-old actress, known for roles in 'The Queen's Gambit' and 'The Witch', appears in an all-gold ensemble, embodying an ethereal aesthetic.
Taylor-Joy, who has been a fashion and beauty ambassador for Dior since 2021, stars alongside Italian actress and model Deva Cassel, 20. The campaign is set to officially launch on October 18, with a synopsis describing a magical ball at the Palace of Versailles, where the Royal Opera comes alive for an enchanted holiday celebration.
The campaign film will feature principal dancers Hugo Marchand and Seo Yun opening the dance, followed by a swirl of costumed revellers. Taylor-Joy, who married musician Malcolm McRae in 2022, has spoken about her evolving relationship with fashion, noting that it was originally functional due to wearing hand-me-downs from her siblings, but she later fell in love with it through her work in film.
