Miranda Kerr Unveils Paris-Inspired Jewellery Collection with Michael Hill
Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr has transformed her deep affection for Paris and enduring romantic ideals into a radiant new jewellery line. She has collaborated with the esteemed jeweller Michael Hill to introduce a sophisticated and stylish collection that captures the essence of timeless love.
The AMOUR Collection: A Tribute to Paris and Connection
The limited-edition range, officially named AMOUR: The Miranda Kerr Collection, comprises nine distinct pieces. Each design draws inspiration from the iconic City of Love, emphasising themes of connection, affection, and heartfelt symbolism. The collection includes interlocking heart necklaces, matching bracelets, elegant rings, and delicate earrings, all crafted to be versatile enough for gifting, layering, or daily wear.
Speaking passionately about the project, the 42-year-old model revealed that this collection is "incredibly close to my heart." She elaborated, "The collection was inspired by Paris, where even the simplest moments can feel magical. Paris holds a special place in my heart. It's where many of my dreams came to life, walking the runways, surrounded by beauty, artistry, and incredible creative energy."
Heart Motif and Personal Design Involvement
The heart motif serves as the central design element, prominently featured in pieces like the interlocking heart tennis bracelet and its coordinating necklace. Kerr describes these items as symbols of connection and gratitude, noting a personal childhood connection to the design. "When I was a little girl, I would draw a design of hearts interlocking like the design on the tennis bracelet and necklace that I created for Michael Hill. It's such a timeless piece symbolising how we're all connected through love," she added.
Kerr took an active and hands-on role throughout the creative process, involving herself in sketching and designing each piece to ensure they accurately reflected her artistic vision and heartfelt statement. She expressed her admiration for Michael Hill's commitment to craftsmanship and timeless design, stating, "I'm grateful to continue my journey with Michael Hill and to see our partnership evolve in such a meaningful and rewarding way. This collection feels like such a natural evolution."
Availability and Tribute to Sir Michael Hill
Pre-orders for the AMOUR collection opened on 22 March, with the full range becoming available in-store and online from 6 April, subject to stock availability. This launch follows a period of personal reflection for Kerr, who in July shared her profound sorrow following the death of Sir Michael Hill, the founder of Michael Hill Jewellers, at age 86 after a long battle with cancer.
In a moving tribute, Kerr told Stellar magazine, "I'm deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Sir Michael Hill. He was a true visionary whose passion and creativity helped shape a brand that has brought joy to so many around the world. I feel incredibly honoured to be part of the brand he built with integrity, passion, and heart."
Michael Hill International Limited confirmed his passing with a statement to the ASX and NZX, honouring him as a celebrated jeweller, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and dedicated family man. Sir Michael Hill launched his first jewellery store in Whangārei in 1979, laying the foundation for a global retail empire that now operates 287 stores across Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. His iconic and accessible jewellery has been adorned by numerous celebrities worldwide, including Kim Kardashian.
