Battlefield 6 Season 3 will launch on May 12, 2026, at 1pm BST across all platforms, including PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Players can pre-load the update from 10am BST on the same day, giving them three hours to download the files before the season goes live.
The highlight of Season 3 is the new map Railway to Golmud, a remake of the classic Golmud Railway from Battlefield 4. It is now the largest map in Battlefield 6, featuring a wider aerial space and tweaked layout to suit the game's mechanics. The central train objective moves towards the enemy base when captured, adding a new strategic element. A second map, Cairo Bazaar, will arrive in a mid-season update.
Three new weapons are being introduced: the M16A4, L115, and RPK-74M, all returning from previous Battlefield titles. The season also includes a new Battle Pass and additional modes for REDSEC. Full patch notes are available on the official Battlefield 6 blog.
