OG Season 9 Battle Pass and Returning Content
The OG Season 9 Battle Pass brings back classic points of interest like Mega Mall, Neo Tilted, and Pressure Plant. New Devourer and Demi variants are available, along with returning weapons including the Drum Shotgun, Burst SMG, and Storm Flip. Epic Games announced the update on X, stating: "Collect five new Sprites in Battle Royale and revisit the future in Fortnite OG Season 9. Downtime for v41.10 begins at 4 AM ET (8 AM UTC) with matchmaking ending shortly beforehand."
New Skins and Crossovers
The update lays the groundwork for upcoming skins tied to the Supergirl movie, pop star Olivia Rodrigo, as well as Neopets and Dave the Diver crossovers. The Fortnite Summer Event is expected in the coming weeks, with more details following the update. Additionally, five new Sprites debut: the Striker Sprite (World Cup-inspired), Fishy Sprite, Aura Sprite, Boss Sprite, and Grim Reaper Sprite.
Item Shop Changes and Early Patch Notes
Starting June 28, Epic Games will bring back previous Battle Pass skins to the Item Shop, beginning with Marvel Outfits from Chapter 5 Season 4 as a bundle. Early patch notes list known issues: Nintendo Switch players may encounter storage space errors; controller inputs may become unresponsive when entering the Lobby; the "Reload" or "Aim Down Sights" action may not trigger if assigned to the Shift key; the "Reboot" action may not work with custom binds; and mobile players may experience Turbo Build interruptions when holding a "Place" button.
