Diddy's Sons Justin & Christian Confront Father's Conviction in 2026 Documentary
Diddy's Sons to Address His Case in New Documentary

The sons of music mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs are preparing to publicly grapple with their father's legal downfall in a revealing new documentary series. Justin Combs, 31, and Christian 'King' Combs, 19, feature in a newly released trailer for an untitled docuseries that will chronicle the fallout from Diddy's high-profile trial and subsequent imprisonment.

A Family's Public Struggle

The project, announced via Instagram on December 28 by Zeus Network founder Lemuel Plummer, is slated for release in 2026. A newly released teaser offers a poignant glimpse into the brothers' experience. It shows Justin seated in a screening room as news headlines about his father's case flash across the screen. Christian later joins him, and the two are seen watching footage connected to the trial.

Their father, Sean Combs, was convicted in July 2024 on two charges related to prostitution under the Mann Act and was sentenced in October to 50 months in federal prison. He is currently incarcerated at the Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institution in New Jersey. The trailer captures the sombre mood, showing the brothers exchanging solemn looks as words like 'pain,' 'loyalty,' 'betrayal,' 'truth,' and 'lies' appear onscreen.

A powerful moment concludes the teaser, with Justin answering a collect call from the prison where his father is held. The documentary promises to chart the profound impact of the case on the Combs family.

Standing By Their Father

The brothers have remained publicly supportive of their father throughout his legal ordeal. When Combs was sentenced in October, Justin addressed the court directly, pleading with the judge to grant his father a 'second chance.' He described Diddy as a 'superhero' who had 'changed for the better' and argued he had more to give the world and his children.

This familial support continued over the festive period. A representative for Combs confirmed to People magazine that Justin spent 90 minutes visiting his father on Christmas Day. They reportedly discussed 'dealing with the hard times' and 'how to do better in the future.'

In September 2024, following Diddy being taken into custody, his six older children—including Justin, Christian, son Quincy Brown, 34, and daughters Chance, Jessie, D'Lila, and Love—issued a joint statement. They said the preceding month had 'devastated' their family and criticised the court of public opinion, stating they stood united in support of their father.

The Legal Battle Continues

Despite beginning his sentence, Diddy's legal fight is not over. Earlier this week, his legal team filed an appeal with the Second Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan. They are seeking either his immediate release or a reduced sentence, arguing that Judge Arun Subramanian improperly considered evidence related to charges on which Combs was acquitted.

It is worth noting that Combs was acquitted in July of more serious racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges. His conviction was specifically for transporting individuals across state lines for sexual purposes. His lawyers contend that similar cases typically result in sentences under 15 months and that Judge Subramanian acted as a 'thirteenth juror' by making findings of coercion.

At sentencing, the judge stated he considered testimony from two former girlfriends, including singer Cassie Ventura. Ventura testified that Combs forced her into sexual encounters with strangers hundreds of times. The judge told Combs he had 'abused the power and control' over women he 'professed to love dearly.'

With the documentary not set to air until 2026, and the appeal process underway, the public saga of the Combs family is far from over.
