Jules Neale has been pictured in a sombre mood at her Brisbane residence, overseeing the removal of furniture sold online in the wake of her marriage disintegration with Australian Football League star Lachie Neale.
A Teary Farewell and a Home Cleared Out
The 35-year-old was seen sharing an emotional embrace with a friend on New Year's Eve as movers carried items from her modern, glass-fronted property. The scene marked a significant shift in her personal life, with a trailer loaded outside with high-end designer tables, chairs, and stools she had listed on Facebook Marketplace.
Among the practical and luxury pieces sold were a $300 teak tree root coffee table, a $150 wooden drawer set, $50 Bunnings shelves, and a $100 filing cabinet. Other miscellaneous items included an iPhone, a trampoline, and a surfboard. The swift sale of these household goods strongly indicates Jules is preparing for a new chapter without her husband.
The Breakdown of a High-Profile Marriage
Rumours of trouble in the marriage first surfaced in December when Jules posted on social media about being 'betrayed'. She later clarified that reports of the couple 'working through' issues were false, stating she had been 'betrayed in the most unimaginable way' and her focus was on healing and her children.
Following this statement, she deleted every photo of Lachie from her Instagram account, erasing over a decade of shared memories. She was also spotted without her wedding ring while being helped by her father to load moving boxes into a car.
The Other Woman in the Spotlight
The split has drawn attention to married mother-of-one Tess Crosley, 29, a Mormon missionary and former close friend of Jules. Ms Crosley, who was seen without her wedding ring this week, has been named in connection with the rift.
Rather than retreat from view, she has posted bikini photos on Instagram, actions which have reportedly stunned members of her conservative Church of Latter-day Saints. Jules previously launched a public attack on Ms Crosley's Instagram, demanding she remove photos from the Brisbane Lions' grand final celebrations, which featured images of the Neales.
Jules and Lachie Neale share two young children: a four-year-old daughter, Piper, and a son, Freddie, born in December 2024. Neither Lachie Neale nor Tess Crosley has made public comments on the situation. There is no suggestion of any wrongdoing by Ms Crosley.
