TOWIE Star Jordan Wright's Final Hours Revealed in Chilling CCTV Footage
Disturbing new details have emerged surrounding the tragic death of The Only Way Is Essex star Jordan Wright in Thailand. The 33-year-old reality television personality was found dead earlier this week in Phuket, where he had relocated for a fresh start. Now, CCTV footage published by The Sun shows Wright engaged in a tense argument with strangers mere hours before his untimely demise.
Argument Captured on Camera Before Fatal Incident
The surveillance video, timestamped at 11:37 PM on March 12, depicts Jordan Wright locked in a bitter confrontation with a family of three who were staying at a nearby hotel. According to police reports, the altercation occurred just minutes before Wright was seen running erratically back to his hotel. Lieutenant Colonel Chanasin Prateep Na Thalang confirmed that the foreign family witnessed Wright walking alone and shouting loudly, appearing to be in a frenzied state.
Authorities believe Wright was arguing over the phone during this encounter. He was reportedly heard making alarming statements, including: "Before they come back, let's get them back in the head and have a f**king shootout. You better f**king perform yourself. I'm gonna go for a long time, man, you're gonna be late for your homecoming." He allegedly added warnings about self-defense, saying: "You've got to be able to defend yourself. That's all it takes, yeah, yeah, it's true, don't be cheating, alright bruv."
Police Investigate Mysterious Circumstances
Local police are actively investigating the incident, focusing on who Wright might have been speaking to on the phone and whether he encountered anyone else that evening. Lieutenant Colonel Sutthirak Chuthong of Choeng Thale district station stated: "The circumstances leading up to the death are quite unclear. It is possible that other people were involved."
Additional CCTV footage shows Wright grabbing onto a white pickup truck as he runs through the hotel complex, nearly stumbling before weaving erratically between buildings. Despite this, police do not believe he was being chased at that moment. Security guards and cameras at Hotel COCO did not spot anyone else with Wright, leading investigators to consider the possibility that he may have been fleeing from someone in a different location earlier.
Tragic End in Drainage Canal
The family of three reported hearing sounds of someone wading in water around midnight, after which the noise ceased. Thalang explained: "The water level in some parts of the canal was chest-deep, and with the darkness and his agitated state, he may not have been able to climb back out." Police suspect Wright may have drowned, though his exact time of death remains unknown.
Jordan Wright had checked into his hotel at approximately 7:00 PM on March 12, and his activities until 11:30 PM are still under investigation. He arrived in Thailand on December 3 using a Digital Nomad visa, commonly utilized by backpackers traveling across Asia. A hotel source noted that Wright's behavior seemed normal until his disappearance, saying: "He would go out at night like other guests. There was nothing unusual until we could not find him when he was due to check out."
As the inquiry continues, authorities are piecing together Wright's final movements to determine the events that led to this heartbreaking outcome.
