Former Love Island star Indiyah Polack has publicly addressed allegations of infidelity against her ex-boyfriend Dami Hope, following the circulation of a video showing her kissing another man. The footage, which emerged on social media, has confirmed the reason behind the couple's recent and sudden breakup.
The Viral Video and a Relationship's End
The controversy began when a video was shared on TikTok this past Sunday, depicting Indiyah sharing a passionate kiss with American Twitch streamer Marlon Lundgren Garcia. The incident is alleged to have taken place on December 3 at the upscale London restaurant Duck and Waffle. In the clip, Indiyah is seen clutching her face in apparent shock immediately after the kiss.
This public revelation came just days after The Daily Mail initially reported on New Year's Day that the couple, who met on the 2022 series of Love Island, had quietly parted ways. A spokesperson for Dami Hope, 29, later formalised the split with a statement citing a 'breach of trust' as the cause for the relationship ending shortly after Christmas.
Indiyah's Statement and the Fallout
Faced with the viral video, Indiyah broke her silence on Instagram. She wrote: 'I am aware of the video that has been shared online. I made a mistake and take full responsibility for my actions. I understand the hurt this has caused. I won't be commenting further.'
Marlon Lundgren Garcia is believed to have met Indiyah while they were both filming the Netflix reality show Inside in the autumn. The pair's split concludes a three-year relationship that began in the Love Island villa, where they famously styled themselves as the 'heartbreakers'. Despite not winning the £50,000 prize, they built successful lives together, with Indiyah becoming a presenter on Capital Xtra and hosting the MOBO Awards.
Impact on Love Island All Stars and Moving Forward
The breakup has direct implications for the upcoming Love Island: All Stars series. Indiyah is still set to return as the host of The Morning After podcast alongside Amy Hart. However, a source confirmed that Dami Hope will not be entering the villa as a bombshell contestant, stating he is dealing privately with the breakup fallout and that appearing on the show would be an 'unforgivable level of disrespect'.
Dami has signalled his focus on moving forward, sharing a reflective post of 20 pictures from his 2025 which notably did not feature Indiyah. He captioned it, in part: 'Not everything ends clean, but it ends clear. 2026 is about peace, progress, motion and exercising my free will daily.' The couple were last seen together celebrating Indiyah's birthday in December but shared no joint photos over the Christmas period.
