The family of Kelly Brook has launched a fierce defence of the model and presenter after Kelly Osbourne accused her of bullying behaviour during Wednesday's episode of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
Jungle Kitchen Clash Sparks Celebrity Feud
The drama unfolded when Jack Osbourne stepped in to help Brook prepare an eel for dinner after watching her struggle with the task. The 40-year-old politely asked his campmate: 'Would you like me to cut up the fish?'
Although Brook accepted the assistance, she later made surprising comments in the Bush Telegraph, claiming Jack had 'elbowed' her aside. The 45-year-old told cameras: 'I saw Jack's eyes light up, it was like Christmas to Jack, and he came running over and elbowed me out of the way to get to this fish like a caveman.'
This wasn't the first culinary conflict between the pair, having previously clashed over potato slicing techniques during meal preparation earlier in the series.
Family Enters the Fray
Kelly Osbourne didn't hold back in her response to Brook's comments, taking to Instagram to voice her disapproval. The television personality declared: 'Kelly Brook... I don't think I like you.'
Osbourne criticised Brook's behaviour as 'performative', particularly referencing her dramatic gagging and retching at the smell of the eel. She added: 'You bring out my big-sister vibes where I want to attack you because I feel like you're a bit of a bully.'
Speaking from the family home in Rochester, Kent, Brook's stepfather dismissed Osbourne's claims as 'a load of rubbish', firmly standing by the model during the escalating controversy.
Camp Dynamics Shift with New Arrivals
The ongoing tension between Brook and Osbourne received an additional twist with the arrival of latecomers Vogue Williams and Tom Read Wilson during Thursday's episode. The new camp leaders were given control over assigning duties to their fellow celebrities.
In a significant shake-up, Williams and Wilson appointed Brook as one of the camp chefs, comparing her to celebrity cook Nigella Lawson, with Martin Kemp joining her in kitchen duties. Meanwhile, Jack Osbourne found himself assigned to dunny duty alongside former EastEnders actress Shona McGarty.
Jack had previously expressed resistance to the new arrivals, confiding in campmates: 'I feel resistance to Vogue and Tom, I'm just kinda like, "Hey you don't get to walk in halfway through the movie and decide to turn it off or change it."'
Brook had earlier voiced her frustration about feeling displaced in the kitchen, telling viewers: 'I'm not gonna lie, last night I just felt, I just felt a bit lost. I just want to be so useful, I'm just still trying to find my place in the camp.'
The model attempted to clarify her intentions, saying: 'I'm so sorry Jack if I'm coming at you and if I'm cutting potatoes wrong, but honestly it's only coming from a place where I just want to help.'
Jack responded by explaining his proactive nature: 'That's just because in my world at home I've got four kids and I'm always just doing, doing, doing.'
Viewers expressed concern that the ongoing stress might lead Jack to consider leaving the jungle, particularly following his emotional start to the series. The disagreement has become one of the most talked-about storylines of this year's I'm A Celebrity.
I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! continues tonight at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
