Maya Jama commanded attention as she arrived at the iconic villa to film the hotly anticipated new series of Love Island: All Stars. The presenter, 31, looked breathtaking in newly released photographs, showcasing a stunning white sleeveless dress.
Jama's Show-Stopping Villa Arrival
The glamorous outfit featured a daring plunging neckline and a dramatically deep, open back with low-cut sides. Completing her effortless look, Maya wore her hair down in loose waves and accessorised with simple gold hoop earrings and a matching bracelet.
This stylish arrival signalled the long-awaited return to filming, after a significant setback forced ITV to postpone the launch. The series was delayed for four days due to dangerous wildfires in Cape Town, South Africa, which made it unsafe for the cast and crew to begin production.
Revised Schedule and Bombshell Cast News
The new series is now set to launch on Thursday evening at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX. In a special treat for fans who have missed days of anticipated drama, ITV will also air a full additional episode on Saturday night at 9pm—a slot usually reserved for the 'Unseen Bits' compilation.
The delay reportedly cost the broadcaster more than £15,000 per hour, covering standing commitments to the full production team, camera operators, and support staff like psychologists who were on location. Maya Jama personally announced the restart on the official Love Island Instagram account, excitedly telling fans: "I can officially announce exclusively that we are back up and running, yay!"
While the initial line-up of 12 Islanders includes former winners like Millie Court and Jess Harding, along with runner-up Whitney Adebayo, several 'bombshells' are waiting in the wings. The Daily Mail exclusively revealed that one surprise entrant will be Curtis Pritchard, marking his fourth stint in the villa.
Moving On From the Villa
Not all former Islanders are returning to the sun-soaked reality show. Maura Higgins, who first found fame in the 2019 series, was notably absent, having recently raised her profile by attending the Golden Globe Awards in Hollywood due to her appearance on The Traitors US.
With the wildfires now under control and safety assured, the stage is finally set for another summer of romance, rivalry, and dramatic twists as Love Island: All Stars begins its belated but highly anticipated run.
