The highly anticipated third series of Love Island: All Stars finally launched on ITV2 this Thursday, following a brief postponement caused by dangerous wildfires in South Africa. The delay, which reportedly cost the broadcaster over £15,000 per hour, is now firmly in the past as the drama kicks into high gear.
New Bombshells Arrive with a Mission
Producers are wasting no time in stirring the pot. After the initial arrival of bombshell Scott Van-Der-Sluis earlier in the week, three more former Islanders are set to make a dramatic entrance on Sunday evening. The new arrivals are Samie Elishi, AJ Bunker, and Konnor Ewudzi, a mix of two women and one man all hoping for a second shot at finding love.
A show insider revealed to The Sun that the casting is always strategic, stating: 'As always, bombshell casting is tactical and these three are on a mission to shake up the villa with certain Islanders in mind.' The source added, 'All three deserve a proper crack at finding love after a tricky series before.'
Who Are the New Villa Intruders?
Samie Elishi is no stranger to the Love Island villa, making this her third appearance. She first joined as a bombshell in the 2023 series, finishing in third place with Tom Clare. After a short-lived romance post-villa, both returned for All Stars series two in January 2025, where Samie was dumped after just five days. Tom, however, went on to win that series with Molly Smith.
AJ Bunker rose to fame during the show's seventh series in 2021. She entered on Day 17 but her journey was cut short when she was dumped on Day 23. Since leaving the island, AJ has pivoted to a career in boxing, officially turning professional in 2022.
Konnor Ewudzi was a contestant on Season 11, entering the villa on Day 17 and surviving until Day 44 before his departure.
They will be joining the existing line-up of All Stars, which includes Millie Court, Jack Keating, Jess Harding, Whitney Adebayo, Ciaran Davies, Sean Stone, Shaq Muhammad, Helena Ford, Tommy Bradley, Belle Hassan, Leanne Amaning, and Charlie Frederick.
A Steamy Start and Public Power
The series, hosted by Maya Jama, opened with what has been dubbed its steamiest launch night ever. In a raunchy icebreaker game called 'Good or No Good', all twelve original contestants shared a kiss on the very first day, setting the tone for a series of explosive rows and connections.
Maya then dropped a bombshell on the Islanders, revealing that the viewing public had already been voting to decide the first couplings. 'They have decided who they think is good for you and they have coupled you up,' she told them, leaving the fate of the initial pairs in the hands of the fans.
To make up for the lost days of drama due to the delay, ITV will air a full episode on Saturday evening, taking the slot usually reserved for the weekly 'Unseen Bits' compilation.
