Love Island: All Stars viewers have delivered a scathing verdict on contestant Charlie, labelling him 'controlling and possessive' after a dramatic display of jealousy during Sunday night's episode. The tension boiled over when new bombshell Konnor Ewudzi, 30, stole Millie Court from him, leading to a fiery confrontation that had fans reaching for the red flag emojis.
Villa Shake-Up and Sun Cream Drama
The latest instalment of the ITV2 show saw a major shake-up as three new bombshells—Samie Elishi, 25, AJ Bunker, 33, and Konnor Ewudzi—entered the villa immediately after a recoupling ceremony. Charlie had been overjoyed to finally couple up with series seven winner Millie, 29, only for Konnor to choose her, leaving him single.
The drama escalated the following day. Konnor was seen applying sun cream to Millie's leg during a chat, commenting that it looked like it was 'burning up'. Charlie, watching the interaction with fellow Islander Belle Hassan, 27, decided to intervene. He pulled Millie for a conversation on a bean bag, demanding to know: 'How was that conversation? I saw him rubbing your leg...'
Viewers React with Fury on Social Media
When Millie attempted to explain that Konnor seemed 'lovely' but there was no flirty vibe, Charlie interrupted. 'Yeah but touching your leg? That's a bit early for that business ain't it? That's a bit too much, too soon?' he questioned.
Although Millie later said in the Beach Hut she was 'not feeling flirty' and was 'glad' Charlie pulled her away, viewers on X (formerly Twitter) were not convinced by his motives. A torrent of criticism flooded the platform, with fans branding his behaviour a major warning sign.
Key viewer reactions included:
- 'Charlie is getting a bit controlling #loveisland.'
- 'NOT CHARLIE BEING POSSESSIVE!'
- 'Charlie needs to chill mate.'
- 'Hmmmm i might be wrong but charlie is giving . Like chill, it’s day 4.'
- 'What kinda red flag move was that from Charlie?!?! Get outta there you control freak.'
Bombshell Entrances and a Steamy Three-Way Kiss
The episode's drama began with the first recoupling, where Millie initially chose Charlie. Konnor's entrance as a bombshell forced him to steal a girl, and he picked Millie without hesitation, leaving Charlie single. Charlie and fellow dumped Islander Ciaran Davies, 23, were then sent to meet the two female bombshells, Samie and AJ.
Charlie wasted no time in moving on. During a game of truth or dare, he shared a steamy three-way kiss with both Samie and AJ, a moment that also sparked a reaction from viewers who found it 'cringe'.
The new bombshells are all hoping for a second chance at love. Samie Elishi, who came third in the 2023 series and had a brief stint on All Stars in 2025, said she returned because she felt she 'didn't get a fair shot' last time. AJ Bunker, from series 7, said she wants to be less reserved, while Konnor Ewudzi from series 11 is back looking for love after turning 30.
Love Island: All Stars continues nightly at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
