Masked Singer's Spooky Special: Maya Jama & Davina McCall's Daring Looks Revealed
Masked Singer's Halloween looks: Maya Jama and Davina McCall stun

The upcoming episode of ITV's The Masked Singer promises a spectacularly spooky twist, with the judging panel themselves undergoing dramatic transformations. Returning to screens this Saturday, the show will feature hosts and judges in elaborate Halloween-inspired outfits, while they continue their quest to unmask the famous faces behind the bizarre costumes.

Judges' Jaw-Dropping Halloween Transformations

Leading the style stakes are panellists Maya Jama and Davina McCall, who have opted for strikingly daring looks. Love Island presenter Maya Jama, 31, smoulders in a figure-hugging black gown with a plunging neckline, accessorised with a dramatic headpiece and smoky eye make-up. Meanwhile, former Big Brother host Davina McCall, 58, makes a bold statement in a glitzy, see-through catsuit adorned with cobweb prints, complete with ankle boots and glittery eye shadow.

The male judges took a different approach, embracing terrifying characters. Presenter Joel Dommett, 40, channels Wednesday Addams in a black mini-dress, while Jonathan Ross, 65, transforms into Frankenstein with green face paint and a silver suit. Comedian Mo Gilligan, 37, appears in a Teen Wolf-inspired outfit, and guest judge Ben Shephard, 51, from This Morning, is unrecognisable as a scarecrow.

Recent Unmaskings Stun Viewers

The new episode follows a series of shocking reveals that have left audiences reeling. The most recent saw punk icon John Lydon, 69, the former Sex Pistols frontman, unveiled as the character Yak. He was eliminated after a performance of Olivia Newton-John's 'Physical'. Viewers expressed widespread astonishment on social media, with many struggling to reconcile the punk legend's appearance on the light-hearted show.

This was preceded by a double unmasking in the previous episode. Comedian and actor Matt Lucas, 51, was revealed as Emperor Penguin, showcasing his musical theatre singing voice to impressed fans. Simultaneously, rapper Professor Green, 42, was voted out and unmasked as Teabag, admitting he was "petrified" as he cannot sing.

Other celebrities already uncovered this series include Alex Jones, 48, The One Show presenter, who was behind the Disc Jockey costume, and pop star Anne-Marie, who was revealed as Goldfish in the series opener—a first for the show as she performed with a live band.

What's Next for The Masked Singer?

The hit ITV series shows no signs of slowing down, with a fresh line-up of secret celebrities still in the competition under costumes like Arctic Fox, Conkers, and Toastie. The format, which sees the audience vote for their least favourite performance before the judges decide who to eliminate, continues to deliver unexpected twists and major celebrity names.

The show's success hinges on this blend of mystery, spectacle, and the judges' often-wild guesses. Last series was won by stage star Samantha Barks as Pufferfish, who beat competition from singer Gregory Porter and Wet Wet Wet's Marti Pellow.

The Masked Singer airs on Saturday on ITV1 and is available to stream on ITVX.
