Reality television star Molly-Mae Hague has strongly hinted that her engagement to professional boxer Tommy Fury is firmly back on, after revealing she has started wearing her diamond ring again. The significant move was confirmed during the latest episodes of her Amazon Prime docuseries, Behind It All.
A Symbolic Return
In the final three episodes of the show's second series, released on Prime Video on Friday, Molly-Mae is seen having a meal with her sister, Zoe. During their conversation, Zoe pointed out that she had noticed her sister wearing the engagement ring once more. Molly-Mae, 26, confirmed this, stating, 'Yeah, I’ve been wearing it a little bit.'
When Zoe probed further, asking if she planned to continue wearing it, Molly-Mae's response was unequivocal. She explained, 'Yeah, I feel in a place where I want to wear it again and we are fully back together and that’s a symbol of that.' This clear statement confirms the couple's reconciliation after a tumultuous split in 2024.
Overcoming Past Trauma
The pair, who met as contestants on ITV's Love Island in 2019 and finished as runners-up, share a young daughter named Bambi. After five years together, their relationship fractured last year. Tommy Fury later admitted publicly that his issues with heavy drinking were the primary cause of the breakup, stemming from a boxing injury that impacted his ability to be the partner he wanted to be.
In the docuseries, Molly-Mae opened up about the profound effect the separation had on her, describing it as her 'biggest trauma'. She revealed she sought professional therapy to help her recover. 'It was deep. The past does affect me. I'm an avoider and I struggle to face things head-on,' she confessed. The therapy, she said, helped her 'clear my head and go into this next chapter with a strong mindset.'
Moving Forward with Caution
Despite the reconciliation, the influencer admitted to lingering fears about the future. Describing the process of moving back in with Tommy as 'bittersweet', she spoke of the 'fear of not knowing what's round the corner'. When asked if she would have believed a year ago that she would be returning to their shared home, she replied bluntly, 'Big no, I really don't want to, honestly.'
The new episodes also chart Molly-Mae's professional milestones, including walking the runway for L'Oreal Paris and beginning a major collaboration with Adidas. While Tommy Fury does not appear in person for filming, he is featured via video calls and clips. The couple, along with daughter Bambi, recently spent the Christmas and New Year holidays in the Maldives, signalling their renewed commitment as a family.
A representative for the couple has been contacted for further comment regarding their rekindled engagement and future plans.
