Netflix has launched a glossy new reality series that promises to take viewers behind the velvet rope of one of America's most exclusive communities. 'Members Only: Palm Beach' began streaming on December 29, 2025, and follows a group of women navigating the intricate and often unspoken social bylaws of Florida's wealthiest county.
The Unwritten Rulebook of Palm Beach High Society
Cast member Taja Abitbol, one of the five main stars of the series, recently offered a glimpse into the arcane regulations governing life in the upper echelons of Palm Beach. Speaking to the Irish Star, she confessed, "I can't even keep track of all the rules that they have." She illustrated the point with a specific sartorial decree, noting that one must avoid showing both shoulders and knees simultaneously in certain settings.
However, Taja was quick to clarify that these strict codes are primarily enforced within the hallowed halls of the area's private members' clubs and country clubs, not throughout the entire town. "So in the rest of the world of Palm Beach, those rules maybe no longer apply," she explained. She also observed a shift in the local culture, attributing it to an influx of new residents from across the globe. "I think things are changing in the world of Palm Beach now as well," she noted.
Glamour, Conflict and 'Real Sisterhood'
Teasing the content of the show, Taja promised a mix of high-octane glamour and genuine human drama. "It was pure fun, glamour, sisterhood... like real life, like conflict and resolve," she revealed, describing the footage as a 'real behind the scenes' look at this rarefied world. She encouraged audiences to binge-watch the series to fully immerse themselves in the storylines and the stunning Floridian backdrop.
When asked how 'Members Only: Palm Beach' differs from established franchises like 'Real Housewives' or 'The Kardashians', Taja emphasised its elevated tone and the diverse yet cohesive nature of its cast. "Really what sets us apart is because we're just so different... that's the beauty of it, that we are all so different, yet we are a sisterhood," she stated.
A Serendipitous Path to Netflix Stardom
Taja's journey onto the Netflix show was a stroke of luck. After previously trying and failing to sell a similar concept with other producers, a chance connection made by her hairstylist led her to the team behind 'Members Only'. "It was meant to be. The stars aligned for me to be on this show," she recounted.
Despite the show's focus on elite social circles and exclusive venues—Palm Beach is home to legendary clubs like Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago, though it does not feature in the series—Taja claims a relaxed personal attitude. "I'm not really concerned about being seen with the right people or not. I just travel in circles that I like," she shared, adding that the affluent world of Palm Beach is ultimately "just a very fun world to be a part of."
'Members Only: Palm Beach' is available to stream in full on Netflix now.
