Reality TV star Olivia Attwood has humorously branded herself an 'evil b****' for taking pleasure in watching her footballer husband, Bradley Dack, get mercilessly teased by his friends on social media. The 34-year-old, who married the 31-year-old Gillingham midfielder in June 2023, made the confession while discussing her love for festive matching pyjamas.
The Festive Photo That Sparks a Roasting
Speaking on her 'Sunday Roast' podcast with co-host Pete Wicks, Attwood explained her unique Christmas tradition. She admitted she adores taking a matching pyjama picture with Dack for the 'nice aesthetic memory' but gets a devilish thrill from the aftermath. After posting the cosy snap to her 2.5 million Instagram followers, she enjoys standing over his shoulder to watch his friends' group chat 'rip him to shreds' for the festive display of coupledom.
'I think it's quite a nice aesthetic memory [to wear matching Christmas pajamas],' Olivia said. 'But I have to say I am actually an evil b**** because I like to get that photo of myself and Bradley, and then I post it, and then I stand over his shoulder while the group chat just rips him to shreds.'
Opening Up on Real Marriage Struggles
Elsewhere in the candid podcast discussion, Attwood and Wicks talked about phrases psychologists say can ruin relationships, with both admitting to using the classic 'I'm fine'. This frankness extends to Attwood's recent reflections on her marriage. In a separate episode of her 'Olivia's House' podcast, she has been incredibly honest about the challenges she and Dack have faced since tying the knot.
She revealed the couple had a 'bad summer' and directly addressed swirling divorce rumours. 'It's no secret. We had a bad summer and I think that there was stuff going on on both sides…. At the end of day marriage is really f***ing hard,' she stated. The rumour mill went into 'full swing' after she was pictured looking close with podcast partner Pete Wicks at an Ibiza boat party in July, which she admitted caused a significant problem at home.
Attwood explained she refused to post forced happy couples content during that difficult period. 'I didn't like the idea of forcing photos out onto my Instagram to pretend we're really happy when we weren't,' she said. The ITV star, who first met Dack in a nightclub in 2015, emphasised that both have made mistakes. 'There are ups and downs... I have f***ed up and done stuff, Brad has f***ed up.'
Using Humour to Address the Rumours
Despite the difficulties, the couple have shown a united front through humour. Earlier in the week, Attwood poked fun at the divorce speculation on Instagram with a skit based on a viral Gossip Girl scene. In the video, set to Jason Derulo's 'Watcha Say', family members leave a dinner table one by one with funny captions. When the camera turned to Bradley, the text read 'Are you and Olivia getting a divorce?' as he stormed away.
Fans praised her candid approach, with one commenting that the video 'shut the divorce rumours down'. The couple, who reunited in early 2018 after a brief initial romance, appear committed to navigating the realities of married life publicly and privately, acknowledging its toughness while maintaining their signature wit.
