Celebrity SAS Star Gabby Allen Warns Viewers: 'It's a Hard Watch'
SAS star warns fans ahead of 'hard watch' episode

A participant from the gruelling reality series Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins has issued a raw and emotional warning to fans just hours before a new episode airs on Channel 4.

An Emotional Preview on Social Media

Taking to Instagram, competitor Gabby Allen shared a moving video clip in which she is visibly distressed and struggling to speak through her tears. In the footage, reported by OK!, Allen opens up about her lifelong drive for perfection, stating, "Ever since I was younger I've always been pushed to be the best at what I've done so when I'm not it's hard. I don't like failing things."

She accompanied the post with a direct heads-up about the broadcast, scheduled for 9pm on Channel 4. Allen wrote that this episode shows "the most vulnerable I have ever shown myself on TV", attributing part of her emotional state to the intense "mirror room" challenge. She explained her motivation for joining the show was to demonstrate there is more to her than public perceptions of "bikinis and dating".

Viewers Prepare for a Tough Episode

The new series, which returned to Channel 4 earlier this month, subjects a fresh batch of celebrities to the brutal SAS selection process under the watch of former special forces soldiers. The show has already proven its unforgiving nature, with one star dramatically quitting last week.

Allen's candid revelation prompted an emotional response from followers. One fan admitted they would need to be prepared, commenting: "Oh god I need to go out and buy some tissues and take my mascara off before I watch it." Another offered support, praising her for showing her depth and reminding her she is "already very much" valued.

A Transformative Experience

Despite the difficulty, Allen reflected positively on the experience. She shared that it taught her a great deal about herself in a short time and has had a daily impact on her life. She also expressed gratitude for the belief shown in her by her family, teachers, and grandparents throughout her life, crediting them for helping shape the "best possible version" of herself.

Concluding her message, she directly addressed her audience: "Anyway, it's going to be a hard watch and I'd love for you to join me." Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins continues to air on Sundays and Mondays on Channel 4.
