The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, is charting an ambitious course for 2026, aiming to significantly expand her lifestyle brand, As Ever, with a new cookbook and a fresh wave of products.
From Netflix to Cookbook: The Duchess's Publishing Foray
Following a landmark 2025 which saw the launch of her As Ever brand and the Netflix series With Love, Meghan, the Duchess is now setting her sights on the publishing world. An insider has revealed that Meghan is in talks to release a cookbook in the early months of 2026.
The book is believed to draw inspiration from her Netflix show, featuring recipes showcased across its two seasons, alongside personal favourites she has shared on social media. This culinary project is timed to coincide with a spring drop of new As Ever products, signalling a focused year of growth for her brand.
Expanding the 'As Ever' Empire: More Wine, Homeware and Pop-Ups
According to sources speaking to the Daily Mail, 2026 is poised to be another substantial year for the Duchess's commercial ventures. The expansion will see an increased emphasis on certain product lines while scaling back others.
The insider stated: “Meghan is looking at a cookbook for early 2026, and there will be more lifestyle products coming in the spring. There will be more wine and definitely more homeware too. But she will ease off selling her biscuit and crepe kits.”
This strategic pivot follows her 2025 foray into homewares with a Christmas gifting range. Furthermore, Meghan is reportedly interested in hosting more in-person pop-up shopping experiences, similar to her late 2025 collaboration with Soho House in Hollywood.
Netflix Performance Holds the Key to Physical Retail
The potential for these physical retail events, however, may be influenced by the performance of her Netflix Christmas special. While the streaming giant has not released official viewing figures, the special received a mixed critical reception.
An insider indicated that Netflix is “monitoring the Christmas show to see if it picks up, before they do any proper pop-ups or experiences.” The special was described as "unfathomable" by The Times, though The Express offered a more positive take, noting its handy festive tips.
Meghan has not yet publicly confirmed these projects for the coming year. Representatives for the Duchess of Sussex have been approached for comment.
