Bradley Walsh was left unimpressed after tucking into a massive 30cm oyster on the latest series of his ITV show, Breaking Dad. The father-and-son duo are back in action once again as they head to Australia for an adrenaline-fuelled adventure down under.
A Giant Oyster Encounter
In a sneak peek of the upcoming episodes, Bradley is seen wearing a water-resistant bib-and-brace over a navy suit while speaking to oyster farmers. They present him with a colossal oyster, prompting Bradley to exclaim: "Wow, that is amazing, isn't it?"
He learns it is a Pacific oyster, formerly known as the Japanese oyster, once considered a delicacy. As the oyster is shucked, he remarks: "Look at the size of that! No." After adding lemon and taking a small bite, his face reveals his true feelings.
Brutal Honest Reaction
Pulling a less-than-impressed expression, Bradley delivers a brutal four-word verdict: "I'm not sure about that. It's an acquired taste, I'll have to be honest." The moment is one of many challenges his son Barney has planned for him on this trip.
More Adrenaline-Fuelled Challenges
While the oyster tasting might seem tame, the series will also feature bungee jumping and flying in a small plane. Bradley commented: "It's so good to be back on the road again with Barney. We really do have the best time, but I'm not quite sure what he has up his sleeve on this trip, which is slightly worrying."
He added: "I was looking forward to a bit of sunshine and maybe a nice barbecue but knowing Barney, I'll be dodging great whites or jumping out of a plane before breakfast."
Barney's Excitement
Son Barney expressed his enthusiasm: "I'm excited to embark on this new adventure with my dad and get him to experience the incredible culture, local activities and landscapes of Australia. It's going to be an exciting and adrenaline-fuelled road trip with lots of fun and laughter."
