Ellie Goulding showcased her post-baby physique in a figure-hugging dress as she enjoyed a romantic date night with her boyfriend, Beau Minnear, on Thursday evening. The couple appeared deeply in love, holding hands after attending the Perfect Magazine X Marc Jacobs Beauty Relaunch party at The Standard hotel in London.
A New Chapter for Ellie
The 39-year-old singer, who shares four-year-old son Arthur with ex-husband Caspar Jopling, welcomed a baby girl with her 28-year-old partner on March 6. Just three months after giving birth, Ellie looked glamorous in a quirky bodycon dress paired with a leather jacket and open-toe high heels.
This week, the star announced her long-awaited return to music. Her new album, I Know Too Much, is set for release on September 4. The first single, Black Prada Dress, will drop on Friday. Ellie debuted the track live at Radio 1's Big Weekend 2026 and is scheduled to perform it on Later… with Jools Holland on Sunday.
The 'Divorce Album'
Ellie has previously described her new record as a 'divorce album,' written during her split from ex-husband Caspar Jopling, 34, in 2024. She explained: 'When I married my ex-husband, I thought it was for life. That will never go away and will always stay with me. Some songs are necessary to acknowledge that time in my life and be respectful of it.' However, she noted that some tracks were 'reactionary and sad' but not meant for the long term.
After sharing the songs with friends, one remarked, 'Wow, this is the divorce album,' while others felt it sounded like 'growing and rediscovery.' Ellie and Caspar finalized their divorce in January last year and remain on good terms, co-parenting Arthur. Caspar has since moved on with actress Olivia Wilde, 42.
New Romance and Family
Ellie was first romantically linked to Beau in July last year after he posted an intimate photo of her on Instagram. She went public with their relationship in September 2025, and he later appeared as her love interest in the music video for Destiny in November. The following month, Ellie revealed her pregnancy on the red carpet at the Fashion Awards.
Opening up about her second pregnancy, Ellie said in January: 'I have an amazing boyfriend. I do have it a little easier because I have amazing support. I'm still working every day and writing every day. It's just that I am growing a human inside me. I'm perhaps not the most Mother Earth about it, but it's a beautiful thing to be able to grow a child.'
