Emmerdale Fans React to Graham Foster's Return

Emmerdale viewers have been left stunned after the surprise return of Graham Foster, played by Andrew Scarborough, during the Corriedale crossover special on Monday night. The character, who was seemingly killed off in 2020, was seen driving a van at the crash site with new Coronation Street character Jodie tied up in the back. Fans have speculated that Graham may be a hitman for hire, with Jodie managing to escape his sinister plans.

In Tuesday's episode, Graham was spotted at Hotten General Hospital, where he checked on Joe Tate following his involvement in the crash. Joe caught a glimpse of the hooded figure staring into his hospital room, but Graham disappeared before he could be identified. The encounter left Joe visibly troubled, with Kim Tate noting his strange mood when she arrived to take him home.

Later, Joe visited the café and spoke with other villagers involved in the chaos. When Jacob Gallagher asked what Joe had seen, he replied: 'I saw a lot of things yesterday. Still trying to make sense of most of them...' The cryptic response has fuelled speculation about what Joe knows and what Graham's return means for the village.

ITV soap boss Iain MacLeod has confirmed that Graham's reappearance is setting up a major storyline in Emmerdale. 'You want something that's completely fresh,' MacLeod said. 'There were hints to the mystery prisoner he had in the back of his van throughout the episode. So you want something that's forward-looking...'

Graham was a regular character on Emmerdale from 2017 to 2020, when he was seemingly murdered by Pierce Harris. His return has left fans eager to see what lies ahead for the mysterious figure.
