Bridgerton fans are eagerly speculating about the romantic future of the youngest Bridgerton brother, Gregory, after his enthusiasm to find 'The One' in season four. As the series focuses on Benedict Bridgerton's turbulent relationship with Sophie Baek, attention is shifting to Gregory's storyline.
In season four, part two, Gregory seeks advice from his brother Colin about finding love. He later panics during Hyacinth's recital when she mentions that gentlemen fetch ladies lemonade if interested, alarmed that no one had informed him of this social cue.
According to Julia Quinn's novels, Gregory's love story is told in On the Way to the Wedding. He initially falls for Hermione Watson but, unsure how to win her, receives help from her friend Lady Lucinda 'Lucy' Abernathy, who is already engaged.
As Gregory and Lucy spend time together, they fall in love instead. They marry and have nine children, many named after Gregory's siblings, including Eloise, Anthony, and Francesca.
However, Netflix will not adapt Gregory's story soon. Seasons five and six are confirmed to focus on Eloise and Francesca, meaning fans may have to wait several years to see Gregory's romance on screen.
