The new Apple TV+ series 'Imperfect Women' has arrived, bringing a familiar whodunnit formula with enough twists to keep viewers engaged. The eight-part thriller stars Kerry Washington, Elisabeth Moss, and Kate Mara, with Washington and Moss also serving as executive producers.
Based on Araminta Hall's 2020 novel, the series follows three best friends: businesswoman and philanthropist Eleanor, wealthy housewife Nancy, and stay-at-home mum Mary. Their dynamic has drawn comparisons to 'Big Little Lies', another Apple TV+ hit.
The story begins with Nancy's murder after a birthday celebration. During the evening, Nancy confides in Eleanor about an affair. Later, Eleanor receives a call from Nancy's husband Robert, who threatens to call the police when Nancy doesn't return home. Eleanor reveals the affair and names David as the lover, just as police arrive to announce Nancy's body has been found.
