Lily Allen showcased her stunning physique in a daring sheer top during behind-the-scenes Instagram photos from her Mighty Hoopla performance. The 41-year-old singer looked sensational as she went braless under a black and white polka dot crop top, paired with a matching miniskirt and black fishnet tights. She was all smiles while sitting in her underwear backstage at Brockwell Park, London, preparing for the festival.
Surprise Duet with Jade Thirlwall
Lily was joined in her dressing room by former Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall, who later appeared on stage as a surprise guest. The duo posed for photos together before slipping into their stage costumes. Lily wowed in a white lingerie bodysuit and mini skirt, and later turned heads in black leather hot pants and a matching bralette. She captioned the post: 'Stuck inside your @mightyhoopla!!'
Performance Highlights
Lily delivered an incredible performance, playing hits from her comeback album West End Girl, which was inspired by her turbulent split from ex-husband David Harbour. After releasing a remix of 'Beg For Me' featuring Jade, she brought out the 'Angel Of My Dreams' singer as a surprise. The pair put on a sensational show, with Lily lying across the stage while Jade straddled her. Jade turned heads in a blue maxi dress with fringe detailing on the neckline.
Earlier, Lily shared a clip relaxing in the sunshine with her 2008 hit 'F*** You' playing, writing: 'Oops decided I'm not done :)) got another song for you.'
Split from David Harbour
Lily and David split in December 2024 after she allegedly discovered his cheating. She documented the end of their romance in West End Girl, with lyrics suggesting an open arrangement that David violated. In the track 'Madeline', she sings: 'How long has it been going on? Is it just sex or is there emotion?/ He told me it would stay in hotel rooms, never be out in the open.' The chorus references a discreet arrangement with strangers, but 'you're not a stranger, Madeline.'
The Daily Mail revealed that 'Madeline' is costume designer Natalie Tippett, who met David while filming We Have a Ghost in 2021. Their affair reportedly began shortly after filming started, a year after David and Lily married in Las Vegas. Lily uncovered the infidelity after finding David's profile on celebrity dating app Raya. She told The Times: 'There are usually agreed-upon boundaries in relationships. But whether those boundaries are adhered to or not is becoming a grey area.'
Mental Health Struggles
Ten months before the album's release, it was reported that the split drove Lily to seek professional help. The Mail on Sunday revealed her mental health deteriorated after returning from holiday to their Brooklyn home. A source said: 'It was very painful for Lily to return home. David used to be her saviour and now he’s a trigger for her.' She checked into rehab for group counselling and one-on-one therapy to unpack her emotions.
