Love Island fans have issued an ultimatum to ITV bosses, demanding a Movie Night to expose contestant Samraj after branding him a 'game player' for his behaviour with Priya and Mica. Viewers were left disgusted by what they described as 'snakey' antics, insisting Priya deserves to know what has been said behind her back.
Samraj Accused of 'Scamming' Priya
In Monday's episode (June 22), Mica confessed to rekindling her connection with Samraj, who is currently coupled up with Priya. This sparked fury among fans, who accused the Birmingham model of keeping his options open. A Reddit post titled 'Producers, please use SCAMRAJ for a movie night title' garnered support, with one fan writing: 'The way Samraj is scamming Priya is crazy. He's had multiple opportunities to let her know how he really feels. His scam of keeping her as an option until Mica fully pursues him is crazy.'
Another viewer commented: 'His mask slipped in that first dust up with Priya after the "It's Not That Deep" game. He's actually a walking ick.' A third added: 'He's so performative it's actually hard to watch.'
Movie Night Demands Intensify
Fans took to X to call for the show's traditional Movie Night segment, which plays back unseen footage to the islanders. One wrote: 'I need Movie Night to expose Samraj.' Another echoed: 'I can't wait for movie night a lot couple will be breaking up! Especially Mica and Samraj being raggedy with their lying ***.'
A third stated: 'Movie night needs to happen next episode, like pre-movie night just for this segment. Samraj needs to be coupled with Priya whilst they roll this tape, this man is gross.' A fourth added: 'Movie night is gonna be so dark. Samraj is definitely the biggest villain right now.'
Some Viewers Support Samraj
Despite the backlash, some fans defended Samraj. One wrote: 'I JUST LOVE MICA AND SAMRAJ TOGETHER SO MUCH.' Another said: 'Samraj is soooooo handsome it's actually insane.' A third expressed preference for Samraj with Priya, adding: 'Priya and samraj are actually so cute together! I love that.'
