Peter Andre has revealed he has secured a lead role in a new drama for Channel 5. The 51-year-old singer and father of five told OK! magazine that he is excited to start filming next month, though he could not disclose the title or further details.
Andre, who is married to NHS doctor Emily MacDonagh, is also working on a new album to mark the 30th anniversary of his hit song 'Mysterious Girl', which was released in 1996. He plans to follow the album with a tour.
While best known for his music career, Andre has previous acting experience, including roles in the stage musicals 'Grease' and 'Thriller Live', as well as voice work in 'Thomas and Friends: Big World, Big Adventures!' and a part in the 2023 film 'SnapCatch'.
