Samuel L. Jackson's Surprise Cameo in The Boys Season 5

Fans of the hit series The Boys were left astonished after discovering a familiar voice in the latest episode of season five. The penultimate instalment, released this week, featured an unexpected cameo from Hollywood legend Samuel L. Jackson.

Jackson Voices the Hammerhead Shark Xander

In episode seven, The Deep, played by Chace Crawford, faces the consequences of his betrayal of aquatic life. After convincing sea creatures that a new Vought underwater pipeline was safe, Black Noir II punched a hole in it, causing an oil spill. The Deep is warned by Xander, the hammerhead shark he once rode, never to return to the water.

Viewers were shocked to learn that Xander was voiced by Samuel L. Jackson, whose name appeared in the end credits as a "special guest star." The actor's distinctive, gurgling voice delivered a brutal and profanity-laced warning, perfectly capturing the fury of the betrayed sea creatures.
