Virgin Island Season 2: 'Mind-Blowing' Scenes Ahead, Next Episode May 4
Virgin Island: Next Episode May 4, 'Mind-Blowing' Scenes Coming

Fans of Channel 4's hit reality series Virgin Island can expect some 'mind-blowing' scenes in the coming weeks, according to the show's experts. The second season is currently airing, with two episodes already broadcast. The series follows 12 virgins on a luxury retreat in Croatia, where they learn about intimacy under the guidance of sex and relationship specialists.

Emotional Breakthroughs So Far

The first episode focused on shame, while the second explored turn-ons. Tuesday's instalment (April 28) featured an emotional session between 22-year-old participant Joy and sexological bodyworker Ilil Lunkry. Joy explored what arouses her and worked to release her shame around masturbation. Through tears, she said: 'Thank you very much for giving me this experience, it's such a precious feeling, really special.'

According to the show's leading experts, Dr Danielle Harel and Celeste Hirschman, there are many more breakthroughs to come. Speaking to the Mirror, Celeste said: 'They're so brave, they're really jumping in this season. I think because they have the foundation of seeing last season. Obviously Bertie's transformation is unbelievable, Joy is amazing. But we're talking about the first couple of sessions, and just wait and see what happens with everyone. It's mind-blowing.'

Danielle added: 'We had time away from them [after filming] and we didn't have any opportunities to see them because they weren't online, but if you see them on TikTok now you're just like 'Oh wow.' The confidence, the moving in the body... They're able to banter around it when before they were so shut down, which I think is just a testament to how profound the change is.'
