Liev Schreiber, 58, Relaxes in Barbados with Family After Health Scare
Liev Schreiber's Barbados Getaway After Hospitalisation

Liev Schreiber has been pictured looking relaxed and rejuvenated on a rare family holiday in Barbados, seemingly putting recent health concerns firmly behind him.

Sun, Sea, and Family Time

The 58-year-old actor was seen shedding his shirt on the beach, soaking up the Caribbean sun alongside his wife, Taylor Neisen, 33. Neisen stunned in a bikini while carrying the couple's baby daughter, Hazel Bee, born in August 2023.

The getaway was a full family affair. Schreiber was also joined by his two older children from his previous relationship with Naomi Watts: son Sasha, 18, and daughter Kai, 17, who came out as transgender earlier this year. One of the teenagers' friends also accompanied the group on the laid-back outing, which featured lounging on the sand and wading into the surf.

Putting Health Scares in the Past

The carefree scenes come just weeks after Schreiber sparked concern by being hospitalised following what was described as a 'massive headache'. A source told the Daily Mail at the time that the Ray Donovan star was left 'embarrassed' by the attention, disliking that people knew he sought hospital care for a headache.

However, this was not the actor's first health scare related to headaches. In 2024, he revealed he was diagnosed with a rare condition called transient global amnesia (TGA), brought on by a migraine, while starring in 'Doubt: A Parable' on Broadway.

'The worst nightmare that an actor could possibly ever experience,' Schreiber described during an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers. He recounted forgetting his co-star's name backstage and then his lines onstage, fearing he had suffered a stroke.

A Full Recovery and a Happy Family Life

Thankfully, medical tests showed no serious issues. TGA is a benign condition where memory loss resolves completely within 24 hours. 'I go to sleep, I wake up, I remember the whole play,' Schreiber recalled. 'I never had another problem with it.'

Now, the focus is firmly on family. Schreiber and Neisen, who began dating in 2017 and tied the knot in 2023, are embracing life with their newborn. Alongside parenting Hazel, Schreiber maintains a close relationship with his older children, Sasha and Kai. The Barbados holiday serves as a clear testament to the actor's return to full health and his commitment to cherished family time away from the spotlight.
