Adam Peaty & Holly Ramsay Honeymoon Amid Family Feud Fallout
Ramsay-Peaty Honeymoon After Wedding Family Drama

Newlyweds Adam and Holly Ramsay Peaty have escaped the bitter fallout from their lavish wedding, jetting off on honeymoon just two days after saying 'I do' in Bath. The couple were spotted leaving the Ramsay family home on Monday afternoon, laden with luggage, heading for the airport and a respite from the very public family rift that overshadowed their nuptials.

A Wedding Overshadowed by Estrangement

The Olympic swimmer, 31, and the influencer, 25, tied the knot at Bath Abbey on Saturday in a ceremony that was notably missing the groom's parents, Caroline and Mark Peaty. The feud, which has been simmering for months, reached a new peak when father of the bride Gordon Ramsay reportedly made a pointed dig at the absent Peatys during his speech. According to reports, the celebrity chef, 59, told his daughter Holly, 'Shame you don't have the same,' in reference to parental support, and stated his wife Tana 'will be a good mum to them both'.

A source close to Caroline Peaty told the Daily Mail she was 'outraged' and 'hurt' by the comments, believing them to be a 'pre-planned' and 'cruel' swipe that painted her as a bad mother. Adam's mother, who was not invited to the wedding or Holly's Soho Farmhouse hen party, was said to be 'beside herself' at home in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, while her son married.

Security, Snubs, and Social Media Statements

The wedding itself was a high-security affair, with guests including David and Victoria Beckham required to wear wristbands. Security guards were positioned at the abbey doors, a measure some speculated was in case the disinvited Peaty family attempted to attend. In a clear statement of his new alliances, Adam has already changed his name on social media to Adam Ramsay Peaty, incorporating his famous father-in-law's surname.

During his own wedding speech, Adam notably did not mention his parents. Instead, he emotionally praised his swim coach, Mel Marshall, describing her as his 'everything' and saying he saw her 'like a mum'. The only member of the Peaty family in attendance was Adam's sister, Bethany, who served as a bridesmaid alongside Holly's sisters.

An Ongoing Rift with Deep Roots

The roots of the conflict trace back to at least September 2024, when the Peaty family were snubbed from the engagement party. The situation deteriorated further with the wedding invitations. Adam's father, Mark, reportedly asked to attend but was told he could only sit at the back, an offer he declined. On the wedding day, Adam's aunt Louise sent him a devastating text message, writing, 'I hope you never suffer the depth of pain you have put your mother through.'

As the newlyweds begin their married life away from the drama, the fallout continues. The entire event is expected to feature in an upcoming Netflix documentary about the Ramsay family, which may offer Caroline Peaty her first proper glimpse of the son's wedding from which she was excluded.
