Scots Active: Racist Group Spreading Hatred Exposed

Scots Active, a group that claims to protect women and children on the streets, has been exposed as a racist organization spreading hatred. Led by Darren Docherty, the group patrols dark streets in black clothing, making videos and looking out for “crackpots” – a term they use to refer to immigrants. Docherty denies being racist, stating his concern is only with illegal immigrants who pose a threat to “our people”. However, evidence reveals a different story.

Exposed: The Real Darren Docherty

Using the same phone number from his flooring business, Docherty started a WhatsApp group to promote an anti-immigration demonstration. The group quickly amassed 1000 followers under the name “Get These C**** Out of Here”. The blatant language leaves no doubt that racism is the motive behind the rally. Videos show young men in black, some wearing Union Flag masks, fighting with police and making Nazi salutes.

Scottish Public Needs Protection from Hate

Record View argues that Scottish women and children do not need protection from Scots Active or similar groups. Instead, they need protection from the likes of Docherty and their divisive messages. The group is described as a “rag-bag” collection of individuals seeking to spread racial unrest.

Ivan McKee and Universal Benefits

In a separate piece, Ivan McKee, an MSP who built successful businesses before entering politics, is highlighted as a rarity in Holyrood. Some question why a reportedly self-made millionaire uses a free bus pass, but it is his right under universal benefits. Everyone over 60 and under 22 is entitled to a pass, meaning half the population can travel for free. McKee enjoys speaking with constituents on the bus. However, with public services under fiscal pressure, awkward conversations about entitlements may be needed. Those with deepest pockets should contribute more.
