Urgent Food Recalls: Morrisons, Lidl, and More

Several major retailers and brands have issued urgent food recalls over the past week due to safety concerns, including one product that may contain pieces of metal. The recalls affect a range of items from crisps and fruit to frozen pastries, prompting the Food Standards Agency (FSA) to urge customers to check their purchases and return affected products.

Morrisons Maple & Bacon Back of the Net Recall

Morrisons has recalled its Maple & Bacon Back of the Net sharing snack (140g, best before 22 August 2026) after discovering that certain packs may contain milk not declared on the label. The FSA warns that this poses a health risk to anyone with a milk allergy or intolerance. Morrisons is withdrawing the product from sale and advises customers: "Please do not eat this product and return it to your nearest store for a full refund. We don't need a receipt." No other products are affected.

Icesupp Mango & Passionfruit and Mixed Berries Recall

Icesupp has recalled its Mango & Passionfruit and Mixed Berries products due to a packaging fault that could lead to microbiological contamination. The affected items (86ml/100g packs with various best-before dates from May to October 2027) are stocked in community pharmacies. The FSA advises consumers not to eat these products and to return them for a full refund, with or without a receipt.

The affected products are limited to specific batches. No other Ferrero product is affected." Customers are urged not to eat the product and to return it for a full refund.

Morrisons Coronation Chicken Pasta Recall

Morrisons has also recalled its Coronation Chicken Pasta (230g, batch code GBB 584 031, use by 30 June 2026) because certain packs may contain Florida Salad, which includes milk not listed on the label.
