Block's 'Biggest Losers' Dylan and Jenny Expecting Second Child After Gold Coast Success
Block's Dylan and Jenny Expecting Second Child

Former contestants from the hit renovation show The Block, Dylan Adams and Jenny Heath-Adams, have shared joyous news with their followers. The couple, who famously walked away without profit from the 2022 season, are expecting their second child together.

A Sweet Beachside Announcement

Taking to Instagram to reveal their happy secret, the Gold Coast-based pair posted a series of affectionate photographs from a beach photoshoot. Jenny, 28, showcased her growing baby bump in a stylish halter-neck top paired with a lemon-coloured maxi skirt. Her husband, Dylan, 34, gazed adoringly at her as she held an ultrasound image over her stomach.

The photos also featured their first child, two-year-old son Billy, who is set to become a big brother. "We've been keeping a little secret… BILLY'S BABY BROTHER OR SISTER INCOMING," the couple wrote in their joint post. They added, "We honestly couldn't be happier! Such exciting times ahead."

From Block Heartbreak to Family Joy

The pregnancy news marks a wonderful new chapter for the couple, whose journey on The Block ended in disappointment. During the 2022 season, their luxury Gisborne property failed to sell at auction and remained on the market for nearly six months. It eventually sold for $3.9 million, which was $180,000 below the reserve price, leaving them empty-handed.

However, their fortunes have since turned around. The couple welcomed their first son, Billy, in August 2024, just 17 months after tying the knot in a lavish ceremony at the InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort in March 2023. The wedding was attended by 150 guests, including several of their former Block co-stars.

A Turnaround in Property and Life

Professionally, Dylan and Jenny have also bounced back from their television setback. In a savvy real estate move, they purchased a Coolangatta apartment for $920,000 in January of last year. After a whirlwind nine-month renovation, they sold the beachside property for $1.35 million, netting a tidy profit of $430,000.

Speaking to the Gold Coast Bulletin in September about the successful project, Jenny explained that they "pulled out all the stops" to update the 1990s-built unit. This financial win, coupled with their growing family, underscores a significant positive shift for the popular reality TV personalities.

Fans and friends flooded the couple's Instagram announcement with congratulatory messages, which Jenny acknowledged in a grateful reply: "Wow, guys, I wish I could reply to all of you! Thank you so much for these beautiful comments. We couldn't be happier."
