Kelsey Parker's Christmas tribute to stillborn son Phoenix

Kelsey Parker has shared a deeply moving tribute to her stillborn son, Phoenix, in the lead-up to Christmas, honouring his memory alongside that of her late husband, Tom Parker.

A Heartfelt Addition to a Memorial Bench

On Christmas Eve, the widow of The Wanted star Tom Parker took to social media to reveal she had added a plaque for her son to Tom's memorial bench. Kelsey posted a photograph of the new inscription, which reads: 'I walk towards my destiny with ease. Phoenix Parker-Lindsay.'

In a poignant message to her followers, she wrote: 'Today we added our beautiful baby boy Phoenix to the bench with Tom.' She reflected on the comforting thought that her partner, Will Lindsay, was looking after her children on earth, while Tom is now caring for Phoenix.

Finding Peace in Grief

Kelsey explained that a medium had once told her Tom was holding Phoenix in his arms. 'Whether you believe in that or not doesn’t matter… what matters is the peace it brings,' she penned. She finds solace in knowing her 'angel boys are together', both taken too soon but forever guiding and surrounding the family with love.

She concluded her emotional post: 'I miss you both more than words can ever say. Always loved. Always remembered.' The update was met with an outpouring of support from fans, who praised her strength and the beauty of the tribute.

A Journey of Profound Loss

Kelsey's husband, Tom Parker, died in March 2022 at the age of 33 after a battle with glioblastoma, an aggressive brain tumour. Tragedy struck again in June of this year when Kelsey lost her unborn baby, Phoenix, her first child with boyfriend Will Lindsay.

Kelsey, who is also mother to Aurelia, five, and Bodhi, four, recently opened up on Instagram about her struggle, admitting she sometimes needs 'space to breathe' and feels the weight of the world on her shoulders. In a candid video, she stated she is 'not ok' but emphasised the importance of pushing forward for her children, who are her 'reason, peace and power.'
