Christy Turlington Unveils Her Four-Part Daily Routine for Youthful Radiance

Supermodel Christy Turlington has publicly disclosed the four essential practices she follows every single day to maintain her remarkably youthful appearance. At 57 years old, Turlington continues to look stunning, a fact highlighted by her recent appointment as a Global Ambassador for the prestigious beauty brand Lancome Paris.

The Simple Yet Effective Daily Regimen

In an exclusive interview with Harper's Bazaar magazine this week, Turlington outlined her straightforward approach. "I mean, it's pretty simple. I wash my face in the morning and moisturize a lot," she explained. Her routine begins with cleansing her face each morning, followed by multiple applications of moisturizer throughout the day. "Sometimes I'll even double moisturize, because especially at this time of year, I get dry skin," she added, emphasizing the importance of hydration.

After skincare, Turlington completes her makeup with a light layer of foundation, a touch of blush, and mascara. "And that's kind of it, I'm on my way..." she remarked, showcasing her efficient beauty philosophy. The other two critical components of her daily plan are ample sleep and regular physical exercise. "A good night's sleep or a run or something where I'm moving my body [helps]. Also, again, a bit of moisturizer in the morning wakes me up, makes me feel a little bit fresher, and a little bit goes a long way," Turlington shared.

Favorite Products and Skincare Philosophy

The iconic Vogue cover girl specifically named her preferred beauty products, which include Lancome's Rénergie moisturizer and the brand's Teint Idole foundation. "I mean, I love consistency, and I love reliability, and Rénergie is the best cream moisturizer situation going," she stated. Turlington expressed a deep passion for skincare, noting that it forms the foundation of her beauty routine. "I love skincare so much, and I love other products too, but I start with the skin. I love a good foundation, but one that has a nice texture and provides a good amount of coverage, but you still look like you," she elaborated, praising the Teint Idole foundation for meeting these criteria.

Embracing Aging with Positivity

Turlington, who celebrated her 57th birthday last month and is embarking on 2026 as Lancome's new face, is resolute in her acceptance of the aging process. She finds inspiration in her mother's appearance at 86 years old. "I think it's important to embrace every age, right?" she questioned rhetorically. "The alternative is not that exciting, so staying optimistic and trying your best to be your best self at any time in your life is a good way to live..."

Reflecting on her own aging journey, Turlington admitted, "I don't think there's anything I've grown to like more [as I've aged], but I definitely feel like I've changed a lot." She finds it amusing how one's appearance can transform over time, often noticing changes only when old images resurface. However, she remains content, stating, "But I'm mostly happy with the way that I've aged. I can see my mom in myself and myself in my mom, which is nice, because my mom is 86 and she still looks good." This familial resemblance provides her with reassurance, leading her to conclude, "So I feel like: 'Okay, that's reassuring, if I take care of myself, I should be okay.' It's kind of fun to see how you change, change is good."

Beyond Modeling: Advocacy and Legacy

In addition to her illustrious modeling career, which skyrocketed in the late 1980s and early 1990s with campaigns for Calvin Klein and Maybelline and appearances on over 500 magazine covers, Turlington is a dedicated activist. She founded Every Mother Counts (EMC), a non-profit organization committed to enhancing maternal health and reducing maternal mortality rates worldwide. This advocacy work underscores her multifaceted life beyond the beauty industry.
