Brexit Book Reveals Explosive Secrets Behind UK's EU Exit

A new book, 'The Brexit Effect', edited by Sir Anthony Seldon, is set to reveal explosive behind-the-scenes details of the UK's decision to leave the European Union. The book, being serialised by The Independent, features essays from 41 prominent figures, including both Leave and Remain supporters, many of whom have not previously spoken publicly.

Among the revelations are Boris Johnson's foul-mouthed comments about Theresa May, Barack Obama's horrified reaction to the referendum result, and bitter recriminations among Brexiteers. The candid accounts are expected to spark a new debate over whether Brexit should or could be reversed.

The publication coincides with the tenth anniversary of the 2016 referendum and growing calls from senior politicians, including Labour leadership hopeful Wes Streeting, for the UK to rejoin the EU. The Independent has launched a campaign, 'Europe: The Way Back', to examine the impact of Brexit on the economy, immigration, trade, and other aspects of British life.
