Hudson, speaking at the TIME100 Summit in New York City on Wednesday, just hours before the season's premiere on Netflix, described Miles as exceptionally kind and willing to participate in any activity.
A Seamless Integration into the Comedy Series
The basketball-centric comedy, which revolves around the fictional Los Angeles Waves team managed by Hudson's character Isla Gordon, features Jake assisting Gordon in guiding her players away from poor decisions. Hudson expressed that this integration felt natural and perfectly suited to the show's tone, highlighting the widespread appeal of the State Farm brand.
Hudson remarked, "I was more starstruck to meet Jake from State Farm than anybody. We thought it was so great and seamless, especially for our show. And who doesn't love State Farm? Even my daughter knows the jingle."
