Poppy Delevingne appeared to be thoroughly enjoying herself as she marked her 40th birthday in the company of her model sister Cara, global pop sensation Taylor Swift, and Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie. The socialite made a striking impression in tiny purple sequin hotpants as she hosted the festivities at the Hart pub, before the celebrations continued at an exclusive after-party at the luxurious BoTree Hotel in Marylebone.
A Leggy Display
Poppy, who turned 40 on Sunday, showcased her long legs in the dazzling hotpants, which she layered over opaque black tights and chunky boots. Styling her blonde hair in a waved half-updo, she completed her birthday outfit with a dramatic purple fur coat. Her sister Cara, 33, opted for a cool look in a grey suit paired with a striped white shirt and a black striped tie. The runway star carried a black briefcase and wore white trainers for comfort.
Star-Studded Guest List
With royalty mingling with music megastars and fashion socialites, Poppy's bash quickly became one of the year's hottest celebrity parties. Leading the extraordinary guest list was Taylor Swift, who arrived hand-in-hand with her NFL fiancé Travis Kelce. Pregnant Princess Eugenie, expecting her third child, appeared in high spirits as she arrived with husband Jack Brooksbank. Despite the issues caused by their parents, Princess Beatrice also smiled broadly as she entered the Hart pub with her spouse Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. Other notable attendees included Georgia May Jagger, Damian Hurley, Lily James, Alexa Chung, Isla Fisher, Nicky Hilton, and Emma Weymouth.
Cara's New Glam Image
The event comes after Cara revealed a new glamorous image, far from her former party girl persona. The model and actress attended the star-studded Academy Museum Gala in October, wearing a glitzy silver gown with a ruffled blue neckline. She shared a carousel of flawless snaps on Instagram, captioning them: '@theacademy gala dump! Scroll through to reveal the truth behind the glitz and glamour.'
Earlier in the month, Cara looked less than impressed as she was forced to wait in line before entering the Stella McCartney show during Paris Fashion Week. She wore a black tank top and sunglasses, standing with her hands on her hips while queuing behind a group of women. Eventually, she lifted her sunglasses and asked, 'Can I go in?' prompting security to recognize her and let her through. She later joined a different 'guests' queue and took her seat on the front row next to Helen Mirren.
