Former Pussycat Dolls member Jessica Sutta has claimed she was excluded from the group's reunion tour due to her political beliefs, branding the comeback a 'cash grab'. The noughties girl group recently announced a tour with Nicole Scherzinger, Kimberly Wyatt, and Ashley Roberts, while Sutta, Carmit Bachar, and Melody Thornton were not asked back.
Speaking on The Maverick Approach podcast, Sutta said she and the other omitted members were 'blindsided' by the announcement. 'None of us were called. None of us were told about anything. In fact, we were blindsided,' she said. She also criticised Wyatt and Roberts for not reaching out after her mother's death.
Sutta confirmed that Scherzinger called her on the day the reunion was announced, but she has not returned the call. 'I love Nicole. This is very bittersweet for me... but the way they did this just showed me exactly why I'm not in the group,' she said.
Sutta left Hollywood several years ago after suffering a vaccine injury and relocated to Nashville. She believes her support for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. made her a 'liability' to the group's image. 'It's a cash grab... I align with Bobby Kennedy, which is aligning with MAGA,' she said.
Original member Carmit Bachar also stated she was not contacted about the reunion. 'I learned of these plans at the same time as the public,' she said in a statement.
