Strictly's La Voix to Announce UK Jury Scores at Eurovision 2026 Grand Final
Strictly's La Voix Takes Major Eurovision Role on Saturday

Former Strictly Come Dancing star La Voix is set to take on a prominent role at the Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final this Saturday, the BBC has confirmed. Each year, a celebrity from each participating country joins the show via video call to announce which acts have received 12 points from their national jury. This year, the UK's representative will be La Voix, known for her appearances on Strictly.

La Voix Joins Eurovision Tradition

In previous years, iconic figures such as Sophie Ellis-Bextor (who stepped in after Ncuti Gatwa withdrew in 2025) and Joanna Lumley have fulfilled this duty. Expressing her excitement, La Voix said: "I’m absolutely over the moon to be announcing the UK Jury scores at Eurovision 2026. It’s the one night where sequins are en masse, key changes are compulsory, and absolutely anything can happen – so naturally I feel right at home. I’ll do my best to behave… but no promises!"

Eurovision Grand Final Details

The Grand Final will take place on Saturday, May 16, hosted for the BBC by Graham Norton, who has been the UK commentator since 2009, succeeding Terry Wogan. The UK entry this year is Look Mum No Computer, performing 'Eins Zwei Drei', which is the first UK entry to include a foreign language.

Although Saturday marks the first competitive performance for Look Mum No Computer, he performed the song in a non-competitive slot during Thursday's semi-final on May 14. The reaction from fans was mixed, with some expressing disappointment. One viewer commented: "Every time you think the UK has sent its worst entry, they somehow surprise you and send something worse, I’m crying." Another added: "LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER for the United Kingdom. Already qualified. The BBC seems to have wanted to go back to the era of clownish performances from the 2000s with this Danish nonsense disguised under synths which is the favourite for last place on Saturday."

However, not all feedback was negative. Some fans praised the performance, with one saying: "I’m British so I’m biased OH MY GOD THAT WAS SO GOOD?!?! There’s so many interactive camera moments which Look Mum No Computer nails. The ‘Cosmo’ dancers are one of the most fun things this year, and there’s treadmills in the desks that he moves on."

La Voix's Future with Strictly?

La Voix's involvement with Eurovision comes amid rumours that she may join Emma Willis as a potential host of Strictly Come Dancing. Speculation has been rife about who will replace Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman. Current frontrunners include Emma Willis, with La Voix, Amanda Holden, and Eurovision semi-final UK host Angela Scanlon also tipped for the role.
